Rather forgettable Gothic by Caroline Farr (alias Richard Wilkes-Hunter) set in modern time (early 1970s).

As a reader, I require at least some attempt to be made at character development.

Exquisite cover art by Allan Kass far exceeds the book in quality (see attached image).
