The Tormented by Dorothy Daniels (Paperback Library 63-034), published in 1969.

    Good catch spotting that. I'm scanning my book covers, but I haven't gotten to Dorothy Daniels yet. I did scan "The Tormented" to show the difference from your original and the cover itself.
