Emily Bronte-Tragic, 19th Century Genius (1818-1848) - UberStein - 11-20-2009 She only lived 30 years, and yet she thought of, and wrote, one of the most compelling romantic novels ever. Her death only gave "Wuthering Heights" a more tragic feel. Almost gothic in it's context; characters fall in love, everyone dies, characters see ghost. In my opinion, she had by far the more creative mind compared to Charlotte. May they all rest in peace |
