Another great gothic tale! I remember finding out about a lot of these books -Rebecca, The Castle Of Otronto, Mysteries Of Udolpho, The Monk- by reading up on Dark Shadows. I was a huge fan of the show for a long time.
Melmoth was one they mentioned that had inspired the show. It's a great book.

Melmoth is next on my reading list. I just discovered my local college library has it. I've heard a lot about it, both good and bad.
