Can anyone tell me what the illustration featured on the top of this page is? Is it the cover art from a book?

I tried to search the forum for an answer, but had no luck. Sorry if I'm repeating a FAQ.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi,

Yes, it is a slice from a cover. The name of the book escapes me at present, but I will provide a fuller answer (and credit to the cover artist!) as soon as the book re-surfaces. Smile

Thanks! I look forward to finding out.
Hi. I ran into this cover and had to read the book. You can see my review under "Gothic Reviews". The book is "Winter Castle". I don't remember if the artist was credited.

Yes, that's it. Winter Castle by Alexandra Bel-Robere, Popular Library, 1975.
Thanks to both of you. I wish book covers were still painted in that style!
