Hm, I think it´s OK Gothic melodrama. 3/5. It is dated and villain is not interesting at all, but there is some effective Gothic moments.
Scarlet fruit of romantic Gothic atmosphere: rich colours, lovely costumes and interiors, atmospheric set design... no touches of Whitechapel sewers!  For the memory of my sweet amber-eyed mother who is in Heaven (1932-2007) |
