Hi all!
I am searching for a book that I only know by description, but not for sure if it falls under this category, maybe you can help. I read a book, around 1984, not after that year I am sure, so obviously the book had to be written before.
It's about a woman who is an artist, and decides to rent or buy an old home (maybe victorian), to paint and get away. While she is there she somehow falls in love with a handsome ghost. She almost isolates herself from friends, stops eating to be with him. Apparently though, she "eats" with him, meals he has created, but I guess it's not real, but imagined, or "ghost food" or something like that. However, that is not the emphasis of this book, its about a artist falling in love with a ghost.
I am hoping someone can help me out. I appreciate it, I remember reading gothic romances all the time when I was younger, I miss them! I am going to get back into it.
I have searched many other sites, and forums, (such as abebooks) but no leads thus far, except for a blog I found which lead me to here (my love-haunted heart).
Thank you
Kerry
