What a cool website! I'm a 40 something married female who grew up reading Victoria Holt, Mary Stewart, Norah Lofts, Phyllis Whitney and other gothic romance writers, and am happy to find others who enjoy these books too.
I would love to be able to buy their earlier works 5 or 6 at a time - have any of you seen sets available on the internet? I'm revisiting my lost youth !

Batches of gothics often turn up on ebay - some sellers batch by author.

I'm right there with you, Macmo, but you're still in your youth!!!
I'm actually heading to my Mom's this weekend and I'm going to dig through the closets. That's where I originally got them all. I'll see what I come up with. I know she had several Victoria Holt books. We used to light candles (a LOT of them) and read those books. It was great!
