BELOVED VICTIM by Joen Arliss - Carrie Dalby - 04-01-2018

Bought this book because of the title. Love the positive word paired with a sinister one. Set in 1925 (published in 1980), with a Southern heiress (Virginia) and a British artist meet on an ocean liner sailing to England. A good read, different start for a Gothic but it turned more predictable halfway through. Still enjoyable and a page-turner.

Thanks for taking the time to review this.  Sounds like something I'd enjoy reading -- I'm always on the lookout (no pun intended) for Gothics and/or suspense stories set on ocean liners or other ships.
