Dark Legacy by Theresa Charles - tamtam - 01-09-2008

I forget its original British title.

I had nearly forgotten this book until I recently read another Theresa Charles book.

Synopsis: A young woman, fleeing her husband, is caught in an air raid in London during WWII. As a result, she suffers amnesia. When her husband finds her and brings her home, she has to unravel the mystery that made her flee in the first place.

Review: A well-plotted book. The reader is more aware of the surrounding atmosphere and motives behind certain characters' behaviors than the protagonist is, so the reader does not feel the tension the way our heroine does. However, the book is told very well.

I'd give this a "B".
